It's pluck n pull , but after spraying it it looks like a Solid piece, but at I use to cut my foam sometimes is an electric knife, works great. Cuts through like butter and you'll be able to get custom fitting

Yeah I've used the blue before. I wasn't sure if it came as a clear also. I'll probably grab a can of black for this purpose.

I promise you that once you do this to one case, you won't feel right unless you do it to all of them

So, how much plasti dip did you use? I basically used about 3/4 of a can on each piece - 1 1/2 cans total. About 7-8 coats per piece. They're still a little "foamy" but much better than original and the separations on the pick and pull pieces are pretty much gone.

What I found is that the texturing on the frame tends to "grab" the foam when inserting or taking out the gun. The plasti-dip helps reduce this, but not entirely. Also, a wide magwell, and extended mag release/slide release tend to do the same thing and you have to be careful when putting in/taking out. Not a huge thing, and it may improve over time. But yeah, it's kind of annoying.
