Been working on a couple builds myself, both serialized. Not in any hurry to get ‘er done. Don’t plan on picking up any more frames, even if laws go in our favor. You can pick up serialized ones now for a fraction of what we paid for 80% these days. You can still customize to your hearts content and save a little time in completing. I’m holding on to enough spare parts to keep my collection running smoothly. Plan on going back to previous builds for more customization later, if and when inspiration hits me.

Yeah...like the time I caught my wife pulling out a box of my old collectible vinyl records for a garage sale. Had them all marked 50 cents. I didn't catch it until I saw a woman walking around with a few tucked under her arm and her husband rifling through the box. Damn near tackled them both.

Same. I've got 2 more to build, then I'm done with this money pit. I've got way more parts than I'll ever need. Too bad gun shows are crap now.

I have been watching a lot of action movies lately and find myself counting the number of rounds fired by the main character. Funny how a lot of the time you don’t see them reloading, until they may fire a dozen or more rounds from a revolver.

The Rifleman and his 12 shot lever action in the opening. The Winchester 1892 carbine only holds 10 rounds.
