I've been very, very bad.
Have been neglecting entering the information on my builds. Fortunately, I've kept 3x5 cards for each one with parts and status, and I've kept all the parts packages for each build in a gallon ziplock so I can go back and try and track down the receipts and have an accurate digital record of what's in each build.
This is going to be a major PITA.
Then again...I'm not sure I really want to know how much each one has cost me.
Oh man. I kept every receipt for my first AR build. Even after it was "finished" and I was still changing parts out. I lost the folder for a good while then found it again. I started doing the same for my 300blk build and decided to shred all the evidence. For one, it kinda made me sick to my stomach to see all those dollar signs add up. Two, I didn't want the wife to see it either. LOL. I even kept all the packaging just like you so I could remember what part was what. Tossed all that too. Strangely enough, I remember every part of both builds. My handgun builds are super easy to keep track of though without paperwork/parts packaging.
