Took a while...Bugout bag

Kept putting it on the back burner, but I finally got my new bugout "A" bag fitted out. It's good for a week in harsh conditions, longer if I can fish/hunt some game.

I'll leave the B and C bags in the vehicle in case I need to ditch.

Damn, 26 pounds seems a lot heavier than it used to! 😵

I've got a couple 72hr bags that I bought from Primary Arms when they were on sale for the same thing; one for the wife and one for the kids. I can probably get more than 72hrs worth in them honestly. I have a condor sling bag for myself. Lots of space and like you said, a little heavier than I thought.

Been thinking about building one myself. Have several bags to choose from, most are "tactical" style with molle attachments. Only thing I can stress is medications. If you are on blood pressure like I am, or any prescribed meds, be sure on having a substantial supply available. OTC meds are also important to have in your first aid kit. I also thought of keeping a couple small bottles of vodka or bourbon, just in case. Might be a good stress reliever, or so I am told.
