I started this one at the end on the spring and finished it up a couple of months ago.

I started out with a plan to match my set of P-40 Warhawks.

These are custom painted years ago and I tried but I couldn't get a paint match. This is the problem with custom paint. I should have kept a log, but I didn't.
The hardest thing with this build was getting a stencil to work. Getting the thin outline of bombs sway was a challenge.

Not happy with how it turn out but will live with it for now, definitely needs to be redone.
Here's is a way to blend in parting lines with this type of frames.

After melting polymer, then doing your stippling. I can't tell where the lines are.
Just a note: GST-9 have a wider grip then P-80 or LW.
The width of GST-9 is wider than my winter build with a walnut grip.
One of the biggest hurdles with walnut grips is keeping the width of the grip comfortable so if you like the feel of the GST-9 you will like the feel of my new style of grips with walnut and bone inlays.
Looks awesome! Always liked the P-40 slide. So cool.
