Sometimes we just feel the need for a change, for whatever reason. So on today's episode of "Cooking with Nosce" we'll be adjusting the color of an existing frame :).In this particular case I have been toying with the idea of refreshing my very first frame ... Originally grey and that was all well and fine, but I wanted it to be green - more emerald than OD if at all possible. So what to do? Easy! RIT DyeTools:Stainless steel pot big enough to submerge the frameStainless steel tongsRIT Dye (Went with the synthetic in a "peacock green" for my use case)

Prep:If needed, strip frame - The dye won't stick to metal, but you want even coverage of all bits and pieces. You will want to do this to a frame after it has been drilled and milled.Step 1:Fill pot with water; Check to ensure that water will amply cover frame.

Love that color! Very classy.
