After all the custom stuff done to the frame and several nights of sanding,
polishing and masking it is ready for the paint.

I used 3m buffer wheels to remove the paint on the slide and then used 600-800 sandpaper to get ready for new paint.

Not what I was trying for, but it is still ok and in reality, a better match for the rest of the build.
I wanted a little tan color in the worn brush look but what I did wrong was not curing each color after applying them.
First, I did a flat black and cured in oven for 11/2 hours, then a gray, tan and white then cured again.
What happened is the black is hard and the white is hard, but the gray and tan did not harden so when brushed they just came off.
Now on to the next step.

I added all my stencils after nights of planning and masked off everything with heat resistant tape.
You need to leave tape on during the cure time. The reason for this is when paint is cured it will not pull off when you pull tape off. Paint does not hold to tape and breaks off right at the spot where it meets your stencil cut out. In other words, it creates a clean edge and paint is not pulled off the slide or frame.

I still need to do a wet sand to smooth everything out and need to decide on a stippling pattern.

SO, what do you think about using the wolf head?
We talked about embedding something in the grip a few months back and WE4PONxyz sent me the wolf head to see what i could come up with. I couldn't put in on the sides because it just doesn't feel comfortable when holding.
I thought of putting in here in front of the grip. I wanted to recess it more but there is a magazine release spring under the spot so I was limited on how mush stock I could remove so it I could only recess it about 1/16. The feel is like finger groves on some early Glock frames.

Well paint is finished and just a little clean up then on to stippling. All in all every thing is ok, I had some bleed under on some of the stencils but it is hardly noticable. I really need a new airbrush. The one I have is warring out and I am having trouble keeping it from spraying to much paint at one time even when I turn air pressure down real low. I have only have used it for about 25 years now LOL.
So what do you think about the wolf head??
I haven't glued it on yet, so I am taking votes on use it or ditch it?
Haven't read this yet but I had to say, OUTFUCKINGSTANDING! This is from the guy that just told me, and I quote, "I am not that good at painting". FOH with that maaaaaan.
