So to get the black frames back to a deep black we need to use the Glade multi surface correct? Do you just need to soak it or soak and polish. I’m not looking for a mirror finish but want the deep black on the sanded/polished areas as I want to do my entire frame but want to work the kinks out on the rails and channel.

I used the fingernail sanding pads too!! BUT my wife found them, now I don't have them anymore. HOW TO CONTROLL JB WELD? Use JB Weld on the top slide is the easiest part of the frame to control. Just put tape on each side and you can keep JB Weld from running down and all over the frame. Just make sure your frame is horizontal and level. Let JB Weld set for about 2 hours and you can form it like puddy, just wet the tip of your finger, and pat it in place. With the area you are working on the frame I would just let it set over night then sand.
