cut the channel on my benchtop mill (initial cut)

the setup I used:

touched up/finished channel

Finished assembly, mostly stock internal Glock parts. Non Glock parts are ghost springs, rook safety plunger and ghost 3.5lb connector.
On the hunt for a better magwell.

Your build looks like it turned out perfect, very nice work!!! this is the exact one I use for these types of projects (I find it to be rather handy) https://www.ebay.com/itm/233659852653 I bought mine when they were $1200 (prices have gone up since then) https://www.grizzly.com/products/grizzl ... tand/g0704 First I gotta buy Hosco fret cutters. Then a Dremel press. And a gazillion other gadgets and thingamabobs. Now this??? WTF. ehhh, not needed IMO, but if you have one......

Thats a nice little mill for a home shop. I really need to think about getting a better mill, they come in handy. I've built all the AR lowers I plan to build but I would like to build a 1911. A decent mill would be nice for that.

Would prefer a more finished look That's what I'm hoping Nosce can bring to it if he can get the file downloaded. I have the file, what email do I send it too?

Agreed and we may be in luck. Looks like the source I have in my materials list, Farrow Tech, is back to making "plain Jane" magwells for the 940c, 940v2, 940CL and PF45 for $20. What's even better is he has offered the 3D file for free to download. NOW THATS AWESOME! So Nosce you wanna give this file a shot? I'll put up a separate post with links in a sec. Below is pics from the website.
As you can see in the pic below the file needs some work and the branding needs to be changed to "FTQ80" but I'm sure Nosce can handle that.
Stay tuned for the dedicated thread.
