Next question... It's difficult to see in the picture, but the connector doesn't depress smoothly into it's "groove" in the trigger housing. It hangs up a bit on the small triangular piece of plastic of the trigger housing as it's being depressed. If I put a little bit of pressure on the connector towards the "front", it will depress into the groove. I've tried several different trigger housings and connector combinations and they all do the same thing. Is this normal? If not, what's the best way to fix it?

If the same connector is catching on multiple trigger housings it could be a tolerance stacking issue. Don't suppose you have OEM parts to swap in to see if that works properly? The connector is supposed to stick out a *little* bit, of course, it doesn't normally sit perfectly flat, but also shouldn't be catching on other bits. If you determine the connector needs to be trimmed down Aonghus has the right idea - Go slow, use fine paper, one or two passes at a time between fittings until it fits perfectly .
