G17 Slide

by Hawkeye » Sun May 22, 2022 3:14 pm What does the slide info say? If it has RMR cut it should work but don't hold me to that. The MGB slide was a RMR and a Swampfox red dot hand to be hand fitted to work. In this case it was the posts that stick up would not fit into the holes on the Swampfox red dot. I took a diamond grinder wheel and made the post narrower and opened up the holes on the Swampfox to get it to fit. This is rare most RMR all fit just right.

does look good I like the serrations too! they would make a good slide for a battle warn look.

Well. I saved a little and was able to support a local shop. I now have a P80 slide! I've always liked the way they looked. Especially the serrations. I'm another step closer to having everything I need to put everything together. Super happy right now.

Honestly I'm weary of purchasing slides on ebay. The only thing I'd consider, which I haven't done, is if they are being sold by a reputable manufacturer that I'm familiar with. There's so much junk out there but as Antient Order says, if there is an iron clad return policy with no restocking fee (you may have to pay for shipping) then I guess it couldn't hurt). Personally I would save a little more (not Gucci level saving) and go with a trusted vendor off of ebay but that's me.
