G43 build

Your post inspired me, i am going to build a G43! Already have my jig, the frame & OEM trigger housing came today!

I am hoping to take these kids out to play this weekend. I’m anticipating a minor issue or two, but nothing that a little tweaking won’t fix. Mostly oem internals, with exception of trigger in fde.

Second single stack. Just need to install sights and get a gold mag extension. Don't know which forum I read it in but not all slide releases work . I picked up a few oem from Midway and none would function, couldn't even get pins in. I went on to use p80 or Tyrant releases and problem solved. I like to use oem when I can find them. Does anyone know about the barrel? Got it because of the look and also a decent discount on my birthday from MidwayUSA.

by seniormoment » Fri Sep 23, 2022 12:58 am I picked up the mag release on fleabay, same with the barrel. Armor ally was the source for blank and slide, looking to put together another in g19. Having trouble sourcing an extended mag in bronze that doesn't cost too much. Be great if I could get a cover to match the barrel. Ill just settle for a black one. They are narrower than Rmr so not too many out there, I think Arm or Ally has some to fit

Is that the Arm or Ally upper/lower? I've got the black multicam version sitting on the shelf waiting to be built. I really like the mag release you got, what is it? Also noticed you haven't done the RMR cover plate yet. I'm still debating how I want to do mine. Don't plan on putting on a red dot on this one.
