What's the best way to get rid of these mold lines? I mean without going full Hawkeye on it? Everything I've tried seems to open a can of worms. They really pop out on the grey frame.

You might try very lightly sanding parting lines then go over the whole frame with a 3m wheel. That would blend the molding lines and tone down the texture on the rest of the frame, The only thing about this is it will give the frame a shine.
