Was originally going with all gold and I’d be “the man with the golden gun, but I changed my mind. I have plenty of gold parts but thinkin’ now of mixing with black. I could go with gold frame and slide with black barrel, pins, etc. Which would leave me another build with a black frame, slide and gold barrel and pins, just the opposite.

Ooooo....I LIKE that black one! Would be awesome with a black/gold RP trigger and Tyrant sights with the gold insert! Nice job!

Received magwell today but a little disappointed in color, looks more like brass than gold. Anyway this is far as I have done. Need to rewatch Ram’s videos on trigger replacement(a few times). Picked up a couple of trigger shoes and safety’s in black and gold.

Most most times I use one of these hook tools but as you can see a tiny Flathead works fine as well.

That all gold is tough and it’s rarely done, I like it “GoldenEye”. I’m also a big fan of two-tone builds ie; gold frame, slide with black barrel, trigger and controls as well. And that knife gnurled grip 100% similar to the slide gnurling. And has a two-tone look.

Looked through parts and found another mag release, this one is a closer match. The other measured 9.3mm wide and the hole is 8.2, don’t know where or when I got it. It isn’t Tyrant, though. One other reason for using black is this stiletto I picked up at local flea mkt., still not a real good match with the frame or slide. Still have a ton of clean up, polishing and fitting to do but this gives a general idea of my golden gun. It would be a shame to get it dirty, just my opinion.

One of the reasons I am thinking of contrasting with black is that it is next to impossible to match gold, as you can see with the mag release. I was going to put it together for the pic (still have a lot of work to do on channel), but when I noticed the color of the mag release I stopped there. You can get the idea of a golden gun, just squint a little. Going to shop around for another release, any suggestions? Small gold parts are Cross Armory, ZP barrel, Rook tails. Can’t remember where I acquired the slide, got a file cabinet full of receipts.
