Sooooooo since I need to test the new paint booth before finishing tge secret build and I'm waiting on a tool that will be delivered this week, I figured I'd sacrifice "Liberator" (G20) since it's the closest to being done (had to be drilled, channeled and painted). The lighting isn't great on some of these but here we go.

Buffed the channel then set for degreasing and blasting before degassing in the oven.

First dry fit complete. It's a tight fit for sure.

Trigger pull heavy as hell. I put the Ghost Inc Ultimate 3.5 Pound Trigger Connector with the 6lb firing pin spring installed. I'm gonna switch to the 4lb spring to lighten the pull.

The Alpha Wolf slide is a Heavy boy that's for sure.
Not seeing a problem with the trigger housing yet that everyone makes a big deal about. I guess I'll find out when I hit the range. Thinking about pulling a Hawkeye with this one before painting the grip. Someone printed this G20 magwell for me but it was too small and the front broke. Nothing JB Weld can't fix.

I contacted Trijicon about my set but they insisted on charging me to "brighten" them up, I'll get it done eventuality. Wow! That's crazy. I hope you get it done. Liberator just survived 3 rounds of the drop test. I'm not surprised though, the trigger pull is heavy as hell. Now it's time for the sights to be installed.

Painting is done...well sort of. I didn't mix the paint dark enough that surrounds the P80 logo so I may fix that later. But for now....
Had to polish the parts then go to building.
And the final turnout.
I learned a lot building this one. Now on to the drop test before I mount the sights.

As per Cylio Turner of Turner Gunworks (former forum member): Light sand Usmc red Kel-tec navy blue "I sprayed the red on after the blue so naturally it made the red look a lil darker (almost burgundy)." The frame/grip will be sprayed Kel-tec Navy Blue.

Update. She's about ready for paint. Ive sanded all im willing to do at this point so into the sand blaster she goes first. I'm trying a different process with liquid latex masking. Wish me luck.
This was an A2 grip tester to see if the liquid make would survive the over. Mission success without a problem.

I bet your plan is to paint the stippling, so a little JB Weld won't be a problem. You're on the way to some real custom stuff Yep, the stipple will be painted as well. As you can see in a few of the pics I burned it a little. This was my first P80 frame stipple and I still hadn't dialed in the proper heat to application ratio. I didn't worry too much about it since I had planned to paint it anyway. I should've put a piece of tape over the p80 logo though. Oh well. Thanks for the tip. It will come in handy for the top secret build in progress. JettaMan OUT!
