ok so this is my first build and I have had a hell of a time trying to get Factory Glock Grooved Trigger to work in the PF9SS frame. Well that is until I got a ROCKEY BRASS LPK and swapped it out, and it worked perfectly…. After much tinkering and mixing and matching parts between FACTORY & Rockey Brass LPK FINALLY BOTH triggers now work however the factory grooved one STICKS every now and then…. Then I finally came across and noticed this little part sticking out on the inside of the rails and wondered if that could be the issue??? Of course I figured I’d ask before getting to smithing since you can’t add polymer once you take it off! THANX! This is my first time posting hopefully pictures came up and everything

Yeah, you got some issues going on with that right rear rail. It looks pretty beat up. Looks like there's excessive wear on the inside of the rail where the trigger bar birds beak rides. Also, what's that black smudging on the polymer just in front of the rail? That's where the bend in the trigger bar hits. That needs to be investigated and cleaned up. Notice how after swapping multiple parts many times, it starts to get better. Sometimes you're not even sure what made it better (except the connector bend...that HAS to be right). Before I go chasing a problem on a new build, I've found that racking the slide and dry firing MANY, MANY times makes the whole system function more smoothly and a lot of problems just go away.
