Starting my second P80 which I got from 80P builder. My first build had all OEM upper and lower parts (as far as I could tell). But this kit from 80P seems to have anodized striker and safety plunger in a copper color. This was probably answered on the old forum, but well...ya know. So, the question is...do I polish these or not?

Color won't matter inside the gun except to you. NOTHING should be "sticky". EVERTHING should be "smooth". Slick even. As Nosce said, but I'll add a caveat, you can polish the firing pin up to but NOT INCLUDING the actual striker. You run the chance of breaking or deforming it. Just my 2 cents. JettaMan OUT! I got lucky on that part, the Grey Ghost Precision kit came with a highly polished striker. I lucked out. And the Apex safety plunger was too. Still doesn't hurt to hit it with a dab of mothers or flitz on a piece of soft tissue just to make sure. You know i did anyway because my OCD wont let me not do it. LOL
