I recently got my G19 put together and I'm a little concerned about the slide stop. As you can see in the picture the bottom of the Spring sits beside the trigger and I'm concerned about drag causing excessive trigger pull. Is this installed correctly or is there something that I can do to ensure that the Spring goes backup into the frame?

You may also have to close the loop a bit for it to fit properly under the upper pin. That should fix your issue. Let me know if you need pics. On the GST9 mod 1 it doesn't have an upper pen the Spring rest on the bottom of the locking block. Ok. The same should apply.

Yeah, that's not good I had the same thing happen more than once. What I did was bend the spring to get it to lay over the slide stop more. On another build I just replaced it, but I did notice it was caused by the spring being bent wrong.
