So I know we just covered the IMPORTANCE of a Gun having Good Grip in "Upgrades That Are Worthwhile Livestream," but I wanted to share my experience because NOT ALL SLIP-ON RUBBERS R EQUAL! Now it seems that the grips with BEAVERTAIL sections stay put, but the "UNIVERSAL GRIP SLEEVES" tend to move, Hogue because it's stiffer rubber, Pachymar because it's not soft enough & off brand online crap is just that! The only 2 IVE FOUND ANY LUCK WITH are the HOGUE HANDALL BEAVERTAIL & LIMBSAVER PRO HANDGUN GRIPS by SVL. The Hogue when installed like their video shows will stay put due to beavertail shape keeping it from riding up, and the LIMBSAVER's are the soft ones that make some pretty bold claims but just seem to work due to proprietary non-slip NAVCOM material!
So I'll post pics of each and links to good ones for info.....

THE ONES BELOW I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

HOGUE UNIVERSAL HANDALL GRIP

The Full PACHMAYR TACTICAL GRIP LINEUP
Now of course there are obviously others out there, however you'll just have to do your research and make sure you're buying a reputable product from a reputable company because IN THE END, you are modifying an object capable of taking life, TREAT IT ACCORDINGLY!
I REALLY DO HOPE THAT THIS HELPS EVEN ONE PERSON FROM HAVING TO WASTE MONEY or just finding something that works!
Good stuff. Thx for the post.
The only experience I have had with rubber pull over grips has been 30 years ago. I hope they are better made now. I had a Hogue on my 1911 when I first started shooting in a timed match, hoping it would help my grip but it would move while shooting. I replacemed the whole grip with a Pachymar rubber grip that is still on today. The only grip I like better than a rubber grip is a stippled grip. Wood is ok if it has a good checkering.
