here is where I'm at on this build.
Still working on magazine extension for G19 magazines, then the frame is ready to start painting. I intend to do some etching on the polished slide. Getting close to the finished build.

This has slowed down a bit, Christmas cookies and smoked venison has taken up all my time the past week. I started working on extended magazine extensions for a G26.
You can see the problem I have with pits in my sanding.
I went cheap and bought two G19 magazine sleeves, 3D printed with polymer. Both had a very aggressive texture that I thought I could just sand down. What happen is what happens a lot with 3D printed stuff, they are full of void's, every time I sanded some off more show up.
So, my plan is to use several coats of paint to fill in these pits. Sanding in-between coats should smooth out the finish so the final paint will match the frame.
All so molded in the frame to match the magazines. Still needs some sanding and filler for some pits but you can see the look I'm going for. I should get back to this build after Christmas.
