So, finally wrapped this one up and have taken it to the range. Very happy with the end results. Great shooter!

We have a winner, sort of. I opened up the slot with a file as mine was smaller than OEM ones I saw in vids. Put it together and no more lock-up binding, just the detent feel of the lever on sear which is expected. Safety bar springs back as needed, cool. Put it in the grip module, and it is no longer moving freely as it is binding on the module. Looks like I have to clearance the module/safety bar. I can move it with a screwdriver, and the gun appears to be functioning perfectly while dry firing, it’s just the takedown issue whenever I have to remove the slide. Getting there…..
Been messing with putting this together. Having issues with the safety bar on the left side binding up. Not happy. Looks like I have to pull it apart again.
More progress made today. Hand fitted the MUP to the slide, then polished the whole MUP and the two bars that slide along it for perfectly smooth operation. Next up will be putting the MUP together, depending on how things fit together I may end up doing some more polishing of other parts, we’ll see.

I'm beginning to dislike both of you (JRM and Mr. Mayan)😡. I wasn't even thinking about starting my 2nd Sig build (1st MUP-1) yet. But now yall got me waking up thinking about the tabs I bent two days ago 🥱. So much so that even before my first cup of coffee, I went to the shop and chopped the tabs. Now I'm on my way to Harbor Freight to buy the damn drill press. Thanks guys. Yall are lucky I'm waiting on shotgun parts to arrive or I would have no time for your shenanigans 🤪.
