As a reminder, i can my 8.5" 5.56/.223 with a CMMG .22 long rifle conversion kit.
First let me say that I ran all three mags fully loaded with no failures to feed (see tge AR Platform "My CMMG Conversion Kit Part 2"). I loaded them up on Thursday and let them sit. I'm guessing that fixed the spring tension. 🤷🏾♂️ Anyway, on to the festivities. The 1st 6 shots SUCKED! I had to find the hold. I zeroed at 10 yards (unfortunately i had no choice) so this was my first 6 shots at 50 yards.
Then i got excited. Shots 7 and 8 bullseye on a 3 inch circle at 50 yards…
… then shot 9 hit the 12 inch gong at 100 yards.
Made for a pretty awesome day running drills at 5, 10 and 15 yards.
Good shooting there.
