This is my first build and running into a little issue. Borrowed a friends jig and milled & drilled a lower. Went to put everything together and the rear takedown lug does not fit into the pocket into the lower. After asking Anderson(lower manufacturer) they told me that, that section of the lower is to be milled out also, I did not know or realize this... I do not think that the jig I used(I cant remember off the top of my head is it was a gen1 or gen2 easy jig) is capable of using it to mill out the section that needs to be done. I am wondering if any of you fine folks can offer me some advice on getting this finished up with some FTQ?? Thoughts... Suggestions??

As Ram said, there is more material that must be removed. I’m not familiar with the type of jig you used, but there are some with upper plates that need to be swapped during machining. Is it possible the jig you borrowed was missing the plate for this area? Photos of one of my lowers for reference…..
