I would like to build some SIG"s but have no idea of what is involved in doing so.
How much will it cost to get into SIG building?
What special tools do I need for for building them?
How diffixalt is it useing the jig?
Where is a good place to get started buting stuff?
I’m in same boat, SOOOOOO GLAD I got my MUP’s and jig before Cali went to shit!
Unless you want to do more than a couple, I would go the serialized route for sure. same as 80%s on other platforms the startup costs are something to factor in (jig, tools).
I have found them to be considerably more expensive than the Glock clones.
+1 on Rogue Banshee videos

I didn't do my MUP-1, I used one of the serialized FCU's I bought but it was extremely simple to complete it from that point. After watching the sig guy, https://youtube.com/@SigGuy , I literally had "Spare Change" completely assembled in about 10 minutes.
I have the JSD jig and 4 MUP1s. From all of the videos I have watched it does not look difficult, but time consuming. You need a good drill press, a variety of bits, and need to take your time since it is steel vs polymer. Rogue Banshee has a good video out there.
