Well I figured I'd start documenting the build for the wife so here's a few pics. I tend to jump around from one thing to another so the rails and the channel aren't completely finished.. Next step is to get the rails and everything fit to the frame.

You just slide them in the dovetail by hand, get them centered and lock them down with 2 Allen's screws. Then you go around the edges of the site and slide with red locktite and let it set up.

I just got the sights installed and man was it easy. If I had known it would be this easy I would have done it yesterday. They are a lot brighter in total darkness.

I really like zaffiri precision slides and barrels. The only 26 I built has a 22-conversion kit on it, I love it a lot. I carry it around the property plinking around. Cheaper then 9mm and I don't have to hunt for brass. So far, it's a stunner!!!

It's gonna be sporting a zaffiri precision slide and barrel along with XS big dot night sights.
She's almost done the only thing left is the sights. My plan is to get it finished up before July 27th because that's my wife's birthday. I'm sure that it shouldn't be a problem depending on my schedule. I'm probably gonna go ahead and give it to her tonight but not let her shoot it until after her birthday.
