OK I'll start with what I have found so far. My son brought over AG23 build that he is working on it's a polymer 80 frame with a Patmos slide upper. He brought it over stating that it would not feed a around in the chamber. And of course it's not fitty one thing that I did find when trying to troubleshoot was troubleshoot was that the firing pin seems to stick out, sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I took the firing pin and the firing pin safety plunger out of the gun and polished it pushed it this did not help the issue. Then I took the firing pin back apart and slid it down into the channel liner and could not easily get it to come out of the firing pin hole. I am thinking that there is some type of abstract obstruction in there but I cannot see it went up shine the light down the hole. What are some possible fixes? Also with it not clambering a round I did take the extractor out and it chambers a dummy round just fine so I'm assuming that it needs a new extractor is this correct?

This is just from racking the slide and checking the sear engagement a few times.
I just got to look at this picture after posting it, this is a 40 caliber gun if I am not mistaken what is in it is a 9 mm ejector. Am I correct in saying this?

by sailman » Tue Jun 21, 2022 3:51 pm My son picked up his lower frame today and took it home and put his G19 slide onto this frame and it fits like a glove so I just think that we may have had an out of speck slide.

They should be the same height. I have only had one bad slide in all of my builds and that was a Rockslide. No we didn't get a chance to try the slide from the G19. He didn't come over, he just said he was going to pack it up and send it back. I would have like to investigate this a little further for future knowledge. OK I just got a text message from my son what JSD supply is going to do is it replace his slide, so I do so I guess we'll start there and see how everything goes.

by sailman » Mon Jun 20, 2022 4:43 pm Well I'm not sure what went on with my son and JSD supply but he got a return shipping label and the slide is going back. Are there any other suppliers out there that have any 23 slides that are in stock?

Yes liner was installed by my son but I'm not sure of the condition it was in when installed. The liner was new but that does not mean a lot. Also I forgot to mention that the slide is tight when trying to install it on the locking block/front rails. I'm beginning to think that it's tolerance stacking with this slide. After work tomorrow we're going to try A G19 slide on that frame and see if it fits the rails better. Then I think that we will pull out the the 19 upper parts and try in the 23.

I believe you’ll need ejector stamped #28926 For the 40 s&w. Glock part # 28927 https://www.ebay.com/itm/144104856335?m ... media=COPY I’m sure you can find just the ejector cheaper elsewhere by itself this was more for an example.
