I finally got back in the shop and finished up the PF940sc I started last building season.

This is an old fun little shooter with a makeover, built for testing some different techniques for creating a new look in grips, pearl inlay. I had to redo my first try because of the uneven look of the pearl with the first try, but after figuring out how to add pearl and epoxy, I think it turned out nice. The frame painted up without any problems, but the slide has problems. I have painted it three times and paint keeps chipping. I think I have found out the problem. My low temp 180 additive has a cracked cap and i think it when bad. Chipping paint it a septum of not being cured properly.
Another thing I didn't like how it turned out is the magazine extension. I had to modify the extension to fit on the base plate of the magazine because the base of a 22 magazine is different from those for a 9mm. I could have made it match up better, and I sould have done more sanding and blinding.
