More JB Weld Tips

I don't know what you guys think but this, it looks like a rigged-up mess that is unfinished.

So, what to do? I have to be able to use any type of magazine. I thought I would use JB Weld to reshape the frame for a better fit.

I used some tape for this to build a well to hold JB Weld in place.

My concern here is that I never built-up JB Weld this high and afraid it will easily be breaking off.

You can see it turned out good, just needs a bigger angle on the side that meets the magazine with more sanding.

Just to see if I could break it off, I used it like a hammer on the bench, striking it on all sides turning it over and again hitting all sides. NO cracks or breaks!! I let the JB Weld set up of 48 hours before I did the test. More sanding and setting up a better boarder for the stippling and I think it's going to look like it is a solid frame made for this type of magazine extension.
