Guys back in the day LOL they would take the Mauser actions to build some really accurate deer rifles.I am out of the loop now-a-days, but I bet guys still make some awesome rifles out of them today.
I've been thinking about the time this Mauser was made all day and think it was earlier than 1900s but more like the late 1800s. If anyone knows please chime in.
Great collector piece. From what I know, Mauser's were made in just about every country. I have seen a lot of them from Europe made into deer rifles. Most of them where British 303s or 7mm. It's been long ago so don't hold me to that. This one looks like it comes from the middle east early 1900s. Just my guess.
