I've got a adjustable gas block that I'm gonna put on my new AR10. It doesn't have a pin in it. It uses screws, Allen head I believe to tighten up to the barrel. Well, I don't have a torque driver like you would use for a scope. What I do have is a small 1/4 in torque wrench ( in - lb) . I have a concern about putting too much torque on the barrel. Is there any chance of damaging the barrel by using this method versus a screwdriver type device?

What is the recommended torque for the screw? Inch pounds should be fine. Foot pounds not so much lol.
