QFTB. Anyone running the Timney G3 trigger? I am having light primer strikes. I have seen some YouTube videos of people using a dremel to clear out space for the firing pin!! Any thought and or fixes?

MAN!!! its sweet I need to learn how to take stock trigger assembly and work it down to get that 4-3 lbs pull I like. So, I bought some flat face trigger shoes from Serpico LYTE shoes and some Cross trigger bars, now I need some time to see if I can polish them to get the feel I like in a trigger. I know everyone said to use OME stuff, but I like to hand work part to fit on my build. Hawkeye it's easy man. The right 3lb connector (Ive used several) and the right trigger shoe (Ranger Proof is my go to) with an OEM Trigger bar will get you there.

After I paint, I always clean paint out of the firing pin hole as well as that area for a good case ejection. Paint buildup anywhere around this area can cause the problem you are having. I would start here first. Really? I LOVE the flat shoe on the Timney!

Glad things worked out. I really like my Timney trigger, the only thing I would like to change is the shoe. I just got some new trigger shoes in so, I may try to change one out. I'm not sure if that would change any thing except the look.

Very nice build. To follow up on my initial question, I spent a day fine tuning my trigger connectors, some OEM and a couple Ghost Edge. took the strike with the Timney to the range. I put 150 rnds thought it, running 2 different slides. not one light primer strike. So i guess i can say that the devil is in the details.

Using Grey Ghost Precision striker assembly. Absolutely no issues at all. EDIT: this pistol has about 650 rounds through it, zero light primer strikes. I also do NOT run the Johnny Glock mods to the trigger. Its the straight Timney Alpha Gen 3, w the copper colored reset spring it comes with.

I been looking into the timney trigger and possibly getting the upgraded carry stuff that Johnny glocks does to them. From what I have read people seem to really really like the set up.
